Kidd Kidd recently sat down with DJ Smallz to talk about the incident of when he got shot six times. The amazing part about this story is that the New Orleans artist says he did not feel any pain. Click the jump to watch the interview.
Kidd Kidd is signed to 50 Cent’s legendary label G-Unit, and almost every G-Unit artist comes from the street life. Just like his mentor, Kidd Kidd was shot six times, three fewer than Curtis, but the interesting part of this story is that Kidd Kidd claims that he didn’t feel a thing when getting shot.
Here’s Kidd Kidd’s explanation of why he didn’t feel any pain.
I guess it’s all about your adrenaline…When I got shot I didn’t feel nothing. Maybe I was just that mad, or maybe it was my adrenaline pumping, but I didn’t feel nothing.
Kidd Kidd goes on in the interview to say that he skipped surgery to remove the bullets, because he didn’t want to miss a performance. Now that is dedication for his craft.
I also wonder how pissed the shooter must be. The guy shot Kidd Kidd six times, and Kidd Kidd is still breathing and he claims that he didn’t feel it. That must really make him look bad on the block.
