Eli Manning is going to retire as a New York Giant thanks to the four year extension he and the team just finalized today. Manning will reportedly get $84 million over the four years, with $65 million of that guaranteed!

The two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback still will make $17.5 million in the final year of his current contract, which would bring his five-year total to $101.5 million, per sources.
“It’s not done yet,” Manning told ESPN’s Ed Werder late Thursday afternoon. “Hopefully it gets done very soon, and I can worry about football and not have to deal with this.”
Well it is not officially done and also includes a no trade clause.
Manning’s $21 million average in new money on the four-year extension would rank him fourth among quarterbacks in the NFL, behind Aaron Rodgers ($22 million), Russell Wilson ($21.9 million) and Ben Roethlisberger ($21.85 million).
