Congratulations are in order for J.Cole. Not too long after going certified platinum, his latest project Forest Hills Drive has now surpassed the one millionth mark in copies sold. This is the first time the Roc Nation artist’s career that he has earned a million selling album

Forest Hills Drive was released in December 2014 and debuted at number one on the Billboard charts. FHD followed his previous albums Born Sinner and Cole World: The Sideline Story making making this his third consecutive number one debut.
According to the Billboard charts, the album also produced five entries on the Hot Rap Songs chart: “Apparently” (peaking at No. 10), “Wet Dreamz” (No. 12), “No Role Modelz” (No. 18), “Fire Squad” (No. 24) and “A Tale of 2 Citiez” (No. 25).
Cole is now one of only two rappers to ever have projects sell a least one million units in a calendar year. Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late is the only other album to sell one million copies during this calendar year.
