Just incase you missed it, earlier this week during the MTV VMAs Kanye West announced that he will be running for President in 2020. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone next year’s candidate, Donald Trump said he’s looking forward to running against West in 2020.

Trump told the mag, that he was watching the VMAs when Kanye made the bold announcement. He said to himself, “That’s very interesting. I wonder who gave him that idea?” Trump continued and praised West saying, “He’s said very nice things about me in the past… extremely positive things. He’s actually a different kind of person than people think. He’s a nice guy.” adding “I hope to run against him someday.”
If these two do actually wind up running against each other in 2020, who knows what kind of outcome it could bring. So far Kanye has received positive feedback from a few celebs including Miley Cyrus and Rihanna. Rhianna recently said, “I mean people are voting for [Donald] Trump, who wouldn’t vote for Kanye?”
