Aside from giving us constant entertainment throughout the entire 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye West just had to go above and beyond (as he does every year).

During the festivities that went down in Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday, August 30th, Yeezy decided to reveal some shocking news! According to Mr. West, he is planning to run for President in 2020.

During his acceptance speech that often seemed unclear, strange and confusing at times, Kanye delivered 15 minutes+ of a lot – although we’re not 100% sure what the message behind his rant was this time. However the one thing we are certain of is that he definitely revealed his plans to run for President of the United States.

“I don’t know what I stand to lose after this, it don’t matter though, because it ain’t about me, it’s about new ideas, bro, new ideas. People with ideas, people who believe in truth. And yes, as you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president,” Ye said after accepting the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award from his once-rival, Taylor Swift.

Nobody is quite sure whether or not Kanye is being serious or not but the idea of it all is interesting.
