Although his acting skills on on 10, Terrence Howard’s personal life scales at the bottom. Well, at least that’s what the accounting department for the television show Empire thinks. Apparently, what Howard’s going through in the courts are bringing bad blood to the light of the network because they are cutting his check … shorter in salary.

Just this week, news broke that Howard would not have to give up any monies to ex-wife Michelle Ghent after a judge decided, she was being shady. Now, that turns out to be an even better news than expected since he’ll be taking a pay cut from the show.
A source tells Page Six that Howard’s character as Lucious Lyon being locked up at the end of season one was to keep him at bay in the back. “What they are doing is two-fold,” said the source. “They have him locked up so you won’t be seeing him in as many scenes. But they are bringing in so many, and I mean so many, guest stars and cameos that the average viewer won’t realize it because there is so much going on.”
Guest stars include Kelly Rowland, Chris Rock, Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz and many more.
The source adds that with Lucious playing the background, the fiery Cookie Lyon will be this season’s focus. I mean, can you be angry? Cookie is who brings in the viewers.
Hmm, if his professional career begins to go down under, maybe he won’t have time to focus on what wife he’s marrying next only to divorce her months down the line.
