On live TV early this morning (August 26th), a news reporter and a photographer from WDBG were shot dead while reporting at a water park near Roanoke, Virginia.
24-year-old Alison Parker and 27-year-old Adam Ward were doing an interview with someone when a gunman came up and opened fire, leaving two dead and one injured. However as of now, it is unclear whether or not the person being interviewed is simply hurt or has died.
The police currently have the entire area – which includes a school – under lock-down. The shooter has yet to be found.
The story is still currently developing….

UPDATE:
The shooter is being identified as Bryce Williams, a former employee of the news station. He allegedly murdered Parker and Ward for having reported him to human resources. Williams, aka Vester L. Flanagan, made a claim that Parker made “racist comments” about him in the past in the 23-page manifesto that he faxed to ABC News prior to the shooting.
They have since then forwarded it over to the investigators.
While he fired shots, he was taking videos and photos in which he posted to his Twitter and Facebook accounts – which have since been reported and taken down almost immediately.
It has just been announced that Williams tried to take his life with a gun on I-66 eastbound, but he did not succeed and is still alive.
