The N.W.A. bio pic Straight Outta Compton has not only been shattering records in the box office but is also the cause of records being broken on the Billboard charts. According to the most recent Billboard Hot 100 Chart, the legendary group, N.W.A just landed their first Top 40 song ever.

Congratulations are in order for N.W.A.! 27 years after their hit record ‘Straight Outta Compton’ debuted it is appearing on the Billboard Top 100 Chart for the first time. The record debuted on the chart at number 38.This is not only the group’s first Top 40 record but their first Top 100 record as well.
The album ‘Straight Outta Compton’ has also made waves in the Billboard Top 200 Chart, coming in at number 4. This is right behind Dr. Dre’s soundtrack to the film called ‘Compton.’ Currently the film holds the number spot at the box office for the second week in a row.
