Oh boy, this past year has not been a Columbus Short kind of year. The former Scandal actor has had many run-ins with the law this year, and his latest was at at his own album release party at Infusion Lounge in Los Angeles.
As he was getting ready to take the stage, the 32-year-old who admits a cocaine addiction, was arrested by bounty hunters.
Since July, there has been an arrest warrant out for Short on a domestic violence case. Because Short was in Barbados living life, he failed to show up to court on the charge, which forced the judges hand; he issued a $40,000 bail. When Short was scheduled for another court appearance earlier this week, he failed to show up at that one also, which forced the same judge to raise the bail to $500,000.
Short paid $250K of his bail on Wednesday morning and was then released. He’s now speaking out about his ‘LIFE’ in general.
