It seems like producer extraordinaire Swizz Beats and his R&B songstress wifey Alicia Keys aren’t content with their 25,000 sq/ft mansion for one reason and one reason only – there isn’t enough room for all of their extravagant artwork!
The two are such huge fans of art and they feel the need to have it all out on display, but unfortunately in order to do so, they’re going to have to find a bigger place. Swizz even has a catchy name for their impressive art collection – “Eight Acres of Showtime.”
Their artwork ranges from a plethora of different artists including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Ernie Barnes, Keith Haring and many, many more.
They purchased the home, located in Englewood, New Jersey, from Eddie Murphy back in 2013. The house is fully equipped with eight bedrooms, a movie theater, a huge in-door pool, a two-lane bowling alley, decked out recording studio and a fully functioning gym. As of now, the home is listed for $14.9 million dollars.
As for their next move, they plan to build their next mansion from scratch so it’ll be designed to fit ALL of the artwork their little hearts desire.
