A lot of people are sh*tting in their pants after news broke that a hacker has obtained personal information from the cheating website Ashley Madison.
The hackers – who call themselves the “Impact Team” – have made this information accessible on a searchable database for those who are interested. All you have to do is type in an e-mail address or a name and you can see their sexual preference, contact details, body type and fetishes that they have listed on the website designed to help you cheat on your spouse/ significant other.
The CEO of Erratasec, Robert Graham, said that “hackers are still likely to be able to ‘crack’ many of these hashes in order to discover the account holder’s original password.”
I mean hey, if you’re not out here being a dirty dog, you have nothing to worry about. However if you have been swiping your credit card for some box (or vice versa), you might have found yourself in a pickle (no pun intended). But as the very catchy Ashley Madison commercial says, “Life is short, have an affair.”
