Despite becoming quite the superstar, Fetty Wap is remaining grounded and never forgetting where he came from. As a thank you to the city that raised him, the Paterson, New Jersey native will play a free concert for 1,200 local high school students on August 27 at Bauerle Field.

Announced today by Paterson Mayor Jose “Joey” Torres, tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to Paterson public high school students only, beginning August 24 at Pennington Park.

Both Eastside High (Fetty‘s former school) and Kennedy High will get 300 tickets each for the show, with six other city high schools getting 100 tickets each.
