Fetty Wap has been killing the game with hit after hit since “Trap Queen” caught steam in early Winter 2014, but it took quite some time for them to even add the song to iTunes. Though they followed up with more hits like “My Way,” “Again” and “679,” those too took quite some time to make their way to iTunes and streaming services, leaving many to feel that his label, 300 Entertainment, was really dropping the ball. Add to that the fact there was no mixtape, EP or album in sight?! Yeah, we were definitely worried for a second, but worry no more – it’s lit!
Fetty has announced via the Associated Press that he will release his debut album on September 25. With about 7 weeks to go until that date, it’s not really a “surprise album,” but it does follow the newer formula of a much shorter rollout, like we saw with J. Cole and Kendrick. With the success of all of his singles, I’m pretty confident this is going to sell really well too. Will you be copping?
