The Arlington police officer that shot and killed Christian Taylor has been fired from the Police Department.
Nineteen year old, Christian Taylor was killed by Arlington police officer Brad Miller after police responded to a break in at a dealership. Taylor was unarmed and was shot 4 times by Miller. The Texas Police Department decided to take action and fire Miller for using poor judgement. He entered the dealership without alerting the other officers and that’s when his encounter with Taylor began.
Miller originally told investigators that he feared for his safety but there was reportedly no physical contact made between him and Christian Taylor. Investigations will continue and all evidence will be handed over to the district attorney for grand jury consideration.
