The anticipation surrounding the release of Dr. Dre’s Compton album has been building for quite some time now. The album is set to stream uncensored tonight at 6PM PST on Apple Music, before it’s available for purchase on iTunes. Today, Dr. Dre called into Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show to talk about the project before it drops, and he revealed quite a few interesting things including, the process and hard work behind the scenes, as well as his plans for the album royalties.

As far so production and process of the album goes, the legendary producer revealed that he was able to write a majority of the album with his two new artists, Justus and King Mez. He said all the inspriation for he album was a result of spending time on the set of Straight Outta Compton daily.
Dr. Dre also announced that all royalties made from the project will be donated to building a brand new preforming arts center in Compton. How awesome?!
