While Drake was busy last night at #OVOFest trying to put the final nail in Meek Mill’s metaphorical coffin, he was doing it in style, unveiling the new alternate Raptors jerseys for next NBA Season.

While taking the stage last night, Drake, who also serves as the team’s global ambassador, revealed one of the alternate jerseys for the upcoming season. The design is an OVO- inspired iteration presented in black and gold.
The Toronto Raptors took to Twitter to give a shout-out to Drake and the OVO Fest for helping unveil the much-talked-about redesigns.
Among the more notable changes to the team’s uniforms are the arching of the previously straight names on the back of the jerseys, the reversing of the chevron arrows on the side of the jerseys to point upward (symbolizing “We The North”) and the addition of a Maple Leaf to the front of the waistband.
According to a team press release on NBA.com, the four new uniforms, which will be worn at the start of the 2015 preseason, will be featured on NBA 2K16 upon the game’s Sept. 29 release.
