The wait is almost over. Compton: A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre is set to drop this Thursday on iTunes And Apple Music. This is the first album Dr. Dre’s put out in 16 years and the anticipation is unbearable. Tuesday afternoon, Beats 1 DJ Zane Lowe took to Twitter to announce a special treat for Apple Music subscribers only. Hit the jump for more.
N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton is set to hear next theaters next Friday and in anticipation for the film Dr. Dre will be releasing his album inspired by the film this Thursday (August 6th). To make the album even more exciting, Apple Music will stream the album in it’s entirety and uncensored starting at 6PM PST, this Thursday. ‘Compton’ will stream before it is available on iTunes for purchase. The album includes features from Kendrick Lamar, King Mez, The Game, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, and more. Make sure you’re tuned in Thursday for the exclusive streaming.
