When Earl Sweatshirt isn’t being named dropped as Kendrick Lamar’s Favorite rapper or two piecing dudes off his stage for hugging him, he often posts very entertaining things on twitter. Earl Sweatshirt has built a name for himself since being introduced to the Hip Hop world with Odd Future a few years back, but the West Coast rapper told his fans that he has been thinking about switching up his name.

Earl Sweatshirt’s exact words were : ”

im finna change my rap name lol. dead ass. it’s not about hating my past I just found a flight name that makes me laugh more than earl sweatshirt does.”

This comes after Earl Sweatshirt called Odd Future his “Teenage boy club” that he wasn’t trying to be defined by for his career. Earl Sweatshirt also said:

“Right now, I’m really trying to set my own two feet down as me. The OF thing follows you–it’s viral–even though not one thing I’ve done in the past couple years has been focused on OF.”
