A day after Giants owner John Mara said that he didn’t know the extent of Jason Pierre-Paul’s injuries, the Daily News has obtained exclusive photos of the injured Big Blue star with his arm in a sling supporting a heavily-bandaged right hand and forearm, making his hand look like a club and raising questions about how severe the exent of his injuries really are.

In these first exclusive photos since he nearly blew off his hand in a Fourth of July fireworks incident gone wrong, Pierre-Paul was dressed in a white shirt, black shorts and sandals as his classic car was loaded onto a flatbed truck in south Florida.
The 26-year-old injured his hand during a Fourth of July fireworks incident, burning his fingertips and part of his right hand. The defensive lineman reportedly had a U-Haul truck full of fireworks.
After the accident, Pierre-Paul spent 10 days in a Florida hospital, where he had his right index finger amputated. Pierre-Paul’s camp stonewalled a Giants contingent that included Ronnie Barnes, the team’s senior VP of medical services.
