The Drake and Meek Mill battle has spilled over into the world of sports, especially since Drake used that epic picture of Joe Carter for his “Back to Back” diss track. Since Drake is from Toronto and Meek Mill is from Philly, it’s turned into a war between the two cities as well.
Meek Mill was in Toronto as part of the Pinkprint tour and aside from some trouble at the border and a few boos, nothing serious happened.
Drake might not have the same luck if he goes to Philly according to Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Mychal Kendricks.
TMZ Sports spoke with Kendricks who says Meek is BELOVED in the city — “he definitely runs Philly, bro” — and implied that Drake could have serious problems there now that the two are beefing.
“I wonder how it’s gonna be if Drake tries to come and perform there …”
Sidenote — Mychal was Rihanna’s “MCM” a while back so warning her ex to stay out of his city? Not a terrible idea.
