Terrence Howard has been ordered to remain 100 yards away from his ex-wife Michelle after she was granted a restraining order. Michelle filed a long declaration against Howard claiming that he abused her repeatedly beginning in the first week of their marriage back in 2010. The couple was divorced a year later, the ex-wife is still not finished.

Michelle Ghent, ex-wife of Empire actor Terrence Howard has filed a lawsuit against him. In her sworn declaration she stated that her ex-husband has repeatedly hit her, and threatened her. She claims she lives in fear of him which is causing her chronic health issues. She even claims he threaten to throw her off a balcony in South Africa last year. She said, “Despite my efforts to remove myself physically from (Howard’s) life, his periodic mood swings from anger, threats and violence to statements of love and requests for reconciliation continue and have not subsided.”
Howard denied all allegations and in his own declaration he stated that he’s never threatened her and she has vowed to ruin his reputation and career. He said, “I live in constant fear of Michelle’s endeavors to ruin my reputation; even providing this declaration may well lead to my being subjected to a paparazzi blitz which would not be good for my career.”
This is not the first time Howard has been accused of abuse. Another former wife, Lori McCommas accused him of spousal abuse in 2001. Looks like this situation is not going to end well. Sound off in the comments with your thoughts.
