It’s been five years since Capone-N-Noreaga dropped the sequel to The War Report. Since 2013, CNN fans have been waiting for the Queens duo to make a comeback and let the newbies know their role in hip-hop and SOB’s history. Capone-N-Noreaga hit the stage at SOB’s to celebrate the release of their fifth studio album Lessons. The venue was lit with plenty of the industry’s insiders and die-hard CNN fans who love every song off their new album Lessons. CNN’s fifth album was released via Thugged Out Militainment and Penalty Records, which was the label responsible for their debut album The War Report. Their new album holds features from Tragedy Khadafi, Nature, Royal Flush, Raekwon, and The LOX.
Hosted by Shampoo of YNVS, brand new and talented artists warmed up the crowd like Bronx native Conan, Noreaga’s upcoming group of MC’s the GOODBELTGANG and Brooklyn-born singer Résia, who’s now based in Atlanta. Later on, veteran MC’s Like Tragedy Khadafi, Royal Flush and Nature performed along with CNN.
