Obama-fever has swept through Kenya over the weekend. So much so that several babies born during his visit have been named after the American commander-in-chef. One of the newborns was named after the presidential plane, ‘AirForceOne.

The baby was named after the Obama’s plane is just one of three babies that were named after the president over the weekend. His firs name is “AirForceOne Barack Obama” His mother said she gave him the name because “I have been told that it is the best aeroplane because it carries a very powerful leader of America who is also a Kenyan.”
Naming people, places and things after the first African American — and first Kenyan American — president has become very popular in the country. There are already two schools named “Senator Obama” and several children.
