Following a fatal stroke, Joe Jackson entered the hospital where the trauma did not stop. An artery bursting behind his eye is what triggered his initial stroke, however, while in the Sao Paulo hospital, he suffered three additional strokes.
Jackson who was in Brazil celebrating his 87th birthday lost his vision. According to his publicist, his heart stopped beating for ten seconds. Doctors were able to revive him, put him on a pacemaker that they are now hoping will stabilizes him.

It was reported that Sunday morning, Joe Jackson was admitted to the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo after waking up [temporarily] blind and feeling very light headed. Mr. Jackson was celebrating his 87th birthday at a party that was thrown for him by his family. Sources from his family told TMZ that the doctors are still running tests and don’t know if they should fly Joe to the U.S. for additional treatments. We hope he will be ok.
