Battle rapper Tsu Surf was arrested Friday night (July 24th) in his hometown of Newark, NJ. He was arrested on charges marijuana possession and driving on a suspended license. The rapper was booked at Essex County Correctional Facility. Surf was released the same day.

This is not Tsu Surf’s first arrest. The Newark native was locked up in 2008 on robbery and gun charges that landed him behind bars for almost a year.
