The National Guard Armory in Tallahassee, Florida has been evacuated after a bomb threat was called in Tuesday morning. Authorities are investigating and have turned up nothing. This threat comes just days after an active shooter situation at a Tennessee naval reserve where 5 marines were killed.

Officer David Northway, spokesman for the Tallahassee Police Department, a man called authorities after he claims another man approached him in a dollar store parking lot saying there was a bomb in the armory and to call the police.
After instructing the stranger to call police, the man fled the scene. Police are still searching for this unidentified person and believe he may be armed.
The armory and several nearby schools were evacuated. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s K-9 unit and the Big Bend Bomb Squad conducted a full search earlier this morning and are conducting another search now. They have not turned up any explosives or weapons.
No one has been arrested for the threat at this time.
