Chief Keef Says He Acted Out To Purposely Lose Interscope Deal and this is what he had to say about it :
“The drop part I really didn’t care about,” he said. “I was actually working towards that. I knew the stuff I was doing was gon’ get me dropped. I didn’t want to be with Interscope actually. Jimmy left to. I was already doing what I do like not going to shows, not coming to their sh*t… just no to everything. I knew that was going to happen. It made me look at the bigger picture. …I met [David Alki]… It made me look at the bigger picture of me and my music, how I needed to grow up…. I learned from my mistakes. I didn’t really give a f*ck. It made me go crazy [laughs]. I don’t care though.”
Chief Keef also spoke on his reaction to getting Dropped from the label on twitter back in October of last year (2014). He Tweeted out,”100% of everything goes to me now Jimmy it was cool splitting it with U But u gave yo spot up.”
