The more we dig the more shocking information comes out about the once beloved comedian Bill Cosby. Most recently The New York Times obtained documents from a 1995 deposition from Philadelphia. Cosby was being questioned about his relationship with a young woman who had accused him of drugging and molesting her.

The Times describes Cosby’s attitude throughout the deposition as “alternately annoyed, mocking, occasionally charming and sometimes boastful, often blithely describing sexual encounters in graphic detail.”

During the 1995 deposition Cosby is asked to describe his relationship with Andrea Constand, a former Temple University employee who accused Cosby of drugging and molesting her. Cosby maintained that their relations were consensual.

He said, “I walk her out. She does not look angry. She does not say to me, don’t ever do that again,” he explained, “She doesn’t walk out with an attitude of a huff, because I think that I’m a pretty decent reader of people and their emotions in these romantic sexual things, whatever you want to call them.”

In the deposition Cosby comes off like a ladies man at one point he describes a step by step account of how he won over a particular woman.

“Early on in his courtship, he arranged an intimate meal alone with her at his Pennsylvania home, complete with Cognac, dimmed lights and a fire, he said. At one point he led her to his back porch, out of sight from his chef. ‘I take her hair and I pull it back and I have her face like this,’ he said [in the deposition]. ‘And I’m talking to her …And I talked to her about relaxing, being strong. And I said to her, come in, meaning her body.'”

The pair did not have sexual contact right then, but Cosby describes a later incident when they did. The deposition described,

“Mr. Cosby said he gave her one and a half tablets of Benadryl to relieve stress, they kissed and had sexual contact. Her lawyer said she believed it was a much more powerful drug. Some time later, after Ms. Constand had moved home to Canada, Mr. Cosby spoke with Ms. Constand’s mother on the telephone. The mother, he said, was upset about what her daughter said Mr. Cosby had done, describing the experience as ‘a mother’s nightmare.'”

The deposition goes on to describe how Cosby felt that the orgasm the woman had meant that he sex was consensual.

Things just seem to be getting worse for Cosby as the details begin to pour out. What do you think of this recently released deposition?
