‘High School Musical 3’ star Justin Martin was arrested Tuesday (July 14) for getting in a shootout with police in Boston. Hit the jump for more details.
According to Boston Police Department, police heard gunfire and pulled up to a scene where they witnessed Martin and another man running away with guns. The police attempted to chase them, Martin turned and pointed his gun at the officers. He did not fire, but when the other guy he was with opened fire on police. Police fired backed but did not hit Martin. They managed to tackle him down and when they did the retrieved a .22 caliber pistol. The other man was also arrested.
The former High School Musical was charged for unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and carrying a loaded firearm and 2 counts of assault by means of a dangerous weapon. Martin’s mother said she will attempt to bail him out Wednesday.
