The investigation surrounding the death of legend B.B. King has come to a close. At the time of his death, his family believed King was being poisoned. However, a full investigation has been done and the Coroner ruled King fell victim to Alzheimer’s not foul play.

B.B. King passed away on May 14th, 2015, shortly after his passing his daughter came forward to voice concerns that her father may have been poisoned. She believed that while in hospice care, those responsible for him gave him medication to induce diabetic shock.
According to the coroner’s report no such thing took place. The reports states that coronary artery disease, diabetes, heart failure, high blood pressure and brain damage from low blood flow all played a part in the death of the legend. They also found that King suffered from strokes but they did not kill him. The official cause of death was determined after an autopsy, toxicology tests and consulting a neuropathologist.
The Coroner for Clark’s County PD, John Fudenberg, said in a press release, “At this point we can say with confidence that Mr. King died of natural causes.”
Hopefully now they family can find some peace and closure. King was 89 at the time of his death.
