Despite the claims that continue to pour in about once loved comedian and actor Bill Cosby drugging and raping women over the course of several decades, it seems that more and more people are coming to his side to defend him. Stars like Jill Scott, Raven-Symone and Whoopi Goldberg have publicly defended Cosby and most recently we heard from his alleged mistress who defended her former lover from the claims.

Teresa Taylor who was allegedly in a relationship with Cosby from 1979-1981 wants to defend the man that she says took care of her during their two year fling. She claims that Cosby did not need to drug women because they were already so attracted to him.
The alleged mistress was 19 year-old during their relationship and she said, “He was so respectful towards me,” she added, “He never drugged me or offered me Quaaludes. I was young and he took care of me, sometimes financially. He was good to my family. My mom had pictures of Bill all over the house.” She also claims that Cosby’s wife was aware of their affair, and chose to ignore it.
Because Taylor had such a positive experience with Cosby she has trouble believing the claims made against him. She said, “I respect the women and I can’t dispute it but I don’t believe a lot of it. He didn’t need to do anything to get women to sleep with him. Women are attracted to men with money and power. At the time he was one of the most powerful men in Hollywood.”
Taylor and Cosby split after two years and remained friends since.
