They released a press statement saying, that former Miss USA and Miss Universe titleholders will judge the upcoming pageant.

The Miss Universe Organization president previously stated that she would most likely resort to have former contestants judge the pageant. She said, “I think we’ll have a lot of formers involved to have them be judges to see who’s going to carry (the tradition) on.”
She also added that Miss Universe Organization is going to focus on the closeness of the pageant winners and the family like atmosphere. She said,
“One thing I do know is there are some great opportunities because so many of our former titleholders are so upset that everyone was forgetting about the women that are here and that have worked for years,” She added, “I really feel we’re going to use that as a big theme in the show — it’s a lot about family — and I think Baton Rouge is a lot about family.
The pageant will air this Sunday July 12 on Reelz.
