UPDATE:
After the world went wild, Miguel has a comeback for his R&Beef with Frank Ocean. “No need to compare apples to oranges,” he tweets with an even longer statement attached. Let’s just say, he swings it well.

What happens when you think you’re hot s**t … that’s Miguel.
Now we know that in music, there is always comparisons, or friendly rivalries. You can’t love them all. There was Nas vs. Jay Z, Biggie vs. Tupac and The Backstreet Boys vs. N’Sync (Backstreet Boys), but now, there is Miguel vs. Frank Ocean. Apparently, the two suffer from an R&Beef that is not really a friendly rivalry, but still has kept the two “cordial,” says Miguel.
The Kaleidoscope Dream singer spoke with The Sunday Times and admits that he and Mr. Ocean are not friends, and well, because he’s in this music thing for the long haul, he clearly makes the better music.

“I wouldn’t say we were friends. To be completely honest — and no disrespect to anyone — I genuinely believe that I make better music, all the way around,” Miguel says. “It’s interesting, but we’ll see who’s in it for the long haul. It’s like a marathon, you know?”
Cocky or confident? While I love them both musically, there is something about a more humble – rather cocky – personality that I find lasts for the long haul. So again I ask, cocky or confident? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
