The more details we keep hearing about the personality of UCLA assistant coach, Sal Alosi, the more is starts to sound like Diddy might not be in as much trouble as first thought. Turns out Alosi has a history of erratic and unprofessional behavior that could cost him in the courtroom against Diddy if it ever comes to that.

TMZ reports that it has obtained a copy of a letter to the Jets from a chiropractor who claimed that Alosi and Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis got into a “fistfight” during the same year as the fateful fall of Dolphins gunner Nolan Carroll, who strayed from the field of play and ran into a phalanx of bodies aligned on the other side of the white stripe bordering the gridiron. The letter also claims, per TMZ, that Alosi engaged in a “pattern of abusive behavior and the Jets needed to get him under control.”
TMZ contends that the letter has been sent to Diddy’s camp for use in connection with the looming prosecution arising from a claim that he assaulted Alosi. But it’s hard to see how any of that is relevant to the present case; if Diddy assaulted Alosi (after allegedly threatening to “f–k him up“), it doesn’t matter whether Alosi was being a jerk to Diddy.
It possibly will matter if Alosi was being a jerk to Diddy’s son. Per a separate TMZ report, Diddy’s camp contends that Alosi was bullying Diddy’s son, Justin Combs. If a defense can somehow be fashioned based on provocation by Alosi of Justin Combs, Alosi’s history could potentially become relevant.
