A gunman killed at least 27 people at a beachfront Tunisian hotel the same day that a terrorist attacked and beheaded a person in France and a mosque was bombed in Kuwait. Check out the tragic photos in the gallery, as well as a video about the attack and read more on the story after the jump!
Terror attacks have occurred in Tunisia, France, and Kuwait. At a hotel in Tunisia, a woman told CNN that she saw many bloodied bodies that were lying in the sand and people from neighboring hotels jumping over to fences to get to her hotel. She said that she was staying at a hotel that was about a mile from where the main attack was. Tourists at the hotel put mattresses up against the door to slow any gunmen who might try to come in their rooms. She also said that she heard at least 30 seconds of gunfire.
According to French President Francois Hollande, in southeastern France, one person was beheaded and two were injured at a gas factory near Lyon. In Kuwait, ISIS has claimed responsibility for a bomb blast at the Shiite-affiliated Al-Sadiq mosque during Friday prayers, which lead to a number of deaths and injuries. It is reported that at least one gunman has been killed. France was targeted just this March when at least 23 people died when gunmen stormed the landmark Bardo Museum in Tunis.
