Seems not everyone may be a fan of the Uber service especially taxi drivers from Paris, France. Things just continue to get more and more complicated.
The relationship between taxi drivers from France and Uber has taken a toll for the worst, and it continues to grow more and more complicated as days and weeks go by. Taxi drivers began to participate in what is said to be a nationwide protest of the private car service company by causing chaos and terror on the roads by blocking roads leading to train stations and the airports in Paris. Even more much like the picture above protesters began burning tires and flipping over vehicles causing ever more friction and confrontation between taxi drivers and other chauffeurs alike.
The source of all of this happens to start with the Uberpop service. Which taxi drivers from France are saying that it gives the non-professional drivers that work for Uber a unfair financial advantage because there drivers don’t have to worry about expensive licensing fees like your average taxi driver would. The future of Uberpop is still unknown due to a new french law. France’s Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve sent police out to carry out a ban on Uberpop within its capital and confirmed that he had given instructions to Paris police.
