Trade talks surrounding DeMarcus Cousins have kicked into high gear the past few days with the Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Lakers reportedly actively working towards a deal. Another report surfaced that Cousins wants to play for the New York Knicks. Initially it was reported that Cousins had issues with the management of the team but wanted to remain in Sacramento. New head coach George Karl is reportedly the person that wants Cousins out while Vlade Divac and Vivek Ranadivé seemingly don’t. A Twitter user tweeted Cousins about the situation and Cousins reiterated that he wants to stay with the Kings.
Cousins said he “absolutely” wants to be with the Kings and told the user to open his eyes because he’s questioning the “wrong guy”.
The right guy to question is George Karl to see exactly what’s going on.
Cousins is under contract with the Kings for three more years.
