Lebron James makes sure to stay off of all social media during the playoffs so he can maintain all his focus on winning a championship. Well after his Cavaliers lost to the Warriors last week in the finals, Lebron admits he’s been in a bit of a “funk” but he’s back now. Check out what he had to say after the jump.
This is what Lebron had to say about his past week after losing in the finals:
It hurt to lose. I’ve been in a funk lately, but this… this is what motivates me to do what I do. How can I ever be down when I know my kids and my fans have my back?
Being back home and back with my fans is everything that I dreamed of. Thank you for an incredible season. I’m not satisfied… I’m not happy with the way things turned out… I PROMISE to get better. #StriveForGreatness #ILoveTheseKids #GodBlessOurFans
No matter how many times you make it to the finals, it can’t be easy to lose after having that taste of a championship left in your mouth. And when you’re Lebron James, you know how much pressure is on your shoulders to bring Cleveland a championship.
Nobody can fault Lebron for losing after all the injuries that ailed his ball club, but we all know Lebron is his own biggest critic and will work even harder this summer to get better.
