Ladies, the time has finally come. According to U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew, a woman will be featured on the new redesigned $10 dollar bill. The bill currently features Alexander Hamilton, but he is being replaced by a woman. Although that special lady has not yet been chosen, they’re currently in the process of doing so. “We’re going to spend a lot of time this summer listening to people,” Lew said on Wednesday when he announced the exciting news. The last female to appear on any type of currency was Martha Washington, who was on the $1 Silver Certificate between the years 1891 and 1896.
