Before the year’s end, CeeLo Green plans to release the follow-up to his 2010 album, The Lady Killer. The new project, Heart Blanche is close to completion, and is expected to be dropped closer to the colder months of 2015.
“We’re actually in the final stages,” Atlantic Records CEO Craig Kallman says. “We’ve got a big, big list of songs that we’ve been going through, and we’re kind of mixing the final songs now. We’re going to be imminently figuring out his marketing plan and single release schedule.”

During the album making process, CeeLo has called on many talented artists and producers to put in work on Heart Blanche. That includes, Mark Ronson, Charlie Puth, Eg White (Adele, Sam Smith), Wallpaper (Jason Derulo’s “Talk Dirty”), and John Hill (Eminem, Florence & the Machine). “It’s arguably the best piece of work he’s ever done,” says CeeLo’s manager, Larry Mestel.

How will CeeLo escape the Twitter meltdown, and sexual assault allegations that has plagued him over the past year? Mestel hopes, “to let the music do the talking.” Yeah, well sometimes that doesn’t always work.
