One of the biggest stories during the NFL offseason this year are the issues between LeSean McCoy and Chip Kelly. It all began when McCoy was surprisingly traded from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Buffalo Bills. McCoy hinted at racism and accused Kelly of getting rid of all the good black players. Kelly denied the allegation and tried to call McCoy but LeSean hasn’t answered or returned his calls. Former Eagles quarterback Michael Vick gives advice to McCoy.
During Ron Jaworski’s Celebrity Golf Challenge on Monday, Vick was speaking to reporters about the issue related to his former running back and former coach, and he revealed that not only has he spoken with McCoy, but he’s given him some advice as well.
“I try to give my little piece of advice that I can offer him. He’s his own man. He has his own feelings and emotions. So I can’t interfere with that,” Vick said via NJ.com. “The only thing I try to tell him is stay positive, don’t expose yourself so much. You’re still blessed to be playing in the NFL, a great league, and don’t take things so personal. Your life is great on and off the field. Keep it that way.”
