Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat haven’t come to an agreement on his new contract and there’s been a lot of talk about him possibly leaving. In the meantime, Wade got a new gig as part of the ABC broadcast for the NBA Finals. During one segment, Wade mentioned playing in Miami but spoke in the past tense causing everyone to freak out.
Maybe in Wade’s subconscious he’s already gone and is leaving Miami ORRR he was simply referring to something in that happened in the past so he used the past tense…
Either way Heat fans started assuming he was gone.
