The “Dollar and a Dream” tour has brought joy to hip-hop fans across the country and now J. Cole is bringing it back for round 3. In honor of the sixth anniversary of his infamous mixtape Friday Night Lights, the RocNation emcee announced his upcoming “Dollar and a Dream” tour. Cole revealed that he will be performing his critically-acclaimed mixtape in full for the first time ever. Find out if the summer tour is coming to your city after the jump!
J. Cole will bring his most revered mixtape Friday Night Lights to life this summer. Last year, Cole treated his fans to a full-performance of his second mixtape The Warm Up in cities like London, New York, and his home state North Carolina. From June 21-26, the North Carolina rapper will be hitting up cities like Dallas, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New York City. Cole will also be bringing the Dreamville crew Omen, Bas, and newcomer Cozz for the tour.
Along with the announcement, Cole released an exclusive vlog of highlights from last year’s tour. The 7-minute film documents the “Dollar and a Dream: The Warm Up” show as well as the best behind-the-scenes footage with cameos from Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
