What do you think keeps Johann Rupert, mulltibillionaire of luxury jewelry conglomerate Cartier, from getting sleep at night? Is it worries of his stocks possibly plummeting? Is it the thought of his infrastructure being penetrated by cyber threats? It’s none of the above. What causes concern is the Cartier boss believes an uprising of poor people against rich people is imminent.

It’s reported he recently made the comments at a Financial Times summit in Monaco. Far from paradise, the tycoon delineates a dystopia where the poor finally rise up causing an upheaval throughout society.

Rupert asked:

“How is society going to cope with structural unemployment and the envy, hatred and the social warfare? We are
destroying the middle classes at this stage and it will affect us. It’s unfair. So that’s what keeps me awake at night.”

He added:

“We cannot have 0.1 percent of 0.1 percent taking all the spoils. It’s unfair and it is not sustainable.”

“We are in for a huge change in society. Get used to it, and be prepared. Hopefully we will survive it, because we’re planning for it.”

Mr. Rupert has been reading about robots taking over jobs in society and is deeply disturbed by these type of trends. A major shift in world is upon us all. And, since the wealthy is preparing themselves, this ought to awaken more people to gather there own resources. Get ready for a revolution or has it already begun?
