Some unfortunate circumstances have come full circle for Ice T and his family. His grandson, Elyjah Morrow, was indicted on involuntary manslaughter charges after accidentally shooting his room mate in the chest last year.
Last June, Elyjah Marrow was arrested for shooting his room mate, Daryus Johnson, in the chest. Johnson and Marrow were room mates at a complex in in Marietta, Georgia and apparently they were playing with a stolen gun and at some point a shot was fired that ultimately killed Johnson.
Marrow was hit with several charges including involuntary manslaughter, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana more than an ounce, theft by receiving stolen property and possession of firearm during commission of a felony reckless conduct. DAMN! On top of the involuntary manslaughter, after authorities found a stash of weed, Marrow admitted that he sold it. WHY?? I guess honesty is the best policy; but why make it even worse for yourself by admitting that?
Elyjah Marrow has previously appeared on the his grandfather’s show on E, “Ice Loves CoCo,” so there is a possibility that you may have seen him before. When you are in a position like the legendary Ice T, why not attempt to take advantage of that resource and make a name for yourself in some way?
At this point, it is not completely clear about how much time Marrow will face; but looking at the charges, one can only assume that it won’t be too short. Will they cover this topic on the show?
