As a Chicago native, it’s only right that emcee Chance The Rapper gives back to his community. On June 24th, the Chi-raq representer will be curating a free music festival called Teens in the Park. It will be held on Chicago’s Northerly Island and will be open to Chicago youth ranging in ages 13-24. The city-sponsored event will also feature performances by Donnie Trumpet, DLow and many others. The event, which will be running from 4:30PM-7:30PM, will include fun activities to partake in such as breakdancing, jewelry-making stations, and graffiti art. Donda’s House, which is Kanye West’s organization for his late mother, is also helping sponsor a lot of the event as Yeezy is also from Chi-Town.
