We all know Floyd Mayweather has a history of domestic violence against women, although he denies the accusations against, but that hasn’t helped his image in the public eye. Rev. Al Sharpton didn’t exactly give Mayweather any encouraging words when he was asked if the Money team C.E.O. was a role model.
After Mayweather’s fight with Manny Pacquiao, it seems as if his past transgressions have been at the forefront of everything Mayweather associates himself with.
Al Sharpton seemed to be leaving his hotel and was stopped and asked weather he felt Mayweather was a role model. Sharpton didn’t exactly say no but it wasn’t exactly a ringing endorsement either.
I think that is to be expected with not only his views and actions on women, but his flamboyant and cocky attitude.
Sharpton did say as a boxer, referring to Mayweather’s intense work ethic and dedication, one should model themselves after Mayweather.
