This is probably a day that many of us basketball heads did not want to see coming. Now, I’m not sure if this the profession that Kobe will take up following his career on the court but we’ll be able to see how he does once game 3 goes down. Kobe is definitely a great basketball mind that knows what he’s talking about so it will be interesting to here his perspective on different topics.
For Game 3 on Tuesday night, Kobe Bryant is set to join Sina–a chinese online live streaming service–and he will share his thoughts before the game as well as following it to recap certain points. This definitely seems like an effort from the NBA in attempt to expand the NBA brand globally.
Once he was selected as the next commissioner, Adam Silver did make it known that the NBA would be looking for ways to expand the game. With exhibition games to be played in South Africa, Kobe’s take as an analyst is definitely another way for the league to boost its likeness throughout the world.
