Many people counted the Cleveland Cavaliers out after their star point guard Kyrie Irving suffered a fractured knee cap. Irving underwent successful surgery on Saturday morning and will require 3-4 months to recover. Though he was unable to make the trip to the Oracle Arena to support his teammates, Irving did watch the exciting game from his hospital bed.
The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Golden State Warriors 95-93 in overtime. LeBron James led the way with a triple-double of 39 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists, the game-high in each category.
Despite a late surge from the Warriors that pushed the game into overtime, Cavaliers dominated and evened the series at 1-1 as they head back to Cleveland for game 3.
Kyrie Irving sent a message to his team as he watched in the hospital.
