Ice Cube’s hands have been tied up in film recently, but he’s set on reminding the masses about his roots with a rare performance. The rapper-turned-actor is set to hit the stage for the BET Experience going down later this month. Cube will be joined by some special guests from the West Coast to relive the glory days of N.W.A.’s prime. Find out who will be in the building for the BET Experience after the jump.
Hip Hop DX reports that Ice Cube will bring out plenty of special guests during his set at this year’s BET Experience at L.A. LIVE. According to a press release, Cube is expected to perform classic N.W.A tracks off their debut album Straight Outta Compton. This will be the first time in 15 years since Ice Cube and Dr. Dre last performed as N.W.A. in 2000 with MC Ren, Snoop Dogg, Warren G., and Eminem during their unforgettable Up In Smoke Tour.

The Staples Center in Los Angeles will also feature performances from fellow California natives Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, and Snoop Dogg. The performance will go down Saturday, June 27 and act as the final event of the BET Experience followed by the 2015 BET Awards. The show will go down weeks before the film Straight Outta Compton premieres August 14 in theaters everywhere.
